Subway--Eat Fresh

Subway has a reputation for being healthy, yet affordable for consumers. When I think of Subway I think of Jerry losing a ton of wait by eating Subway instead of McDonalds, which is why I enjoyed this commercial so much. This is a funny commercial and I loved how there was no use of words until the very end. This came out just as the new year began which was perfect timing; we all know that getting in shape is most everyone's new years resolution, and Subway did it right with this commercial. This is a funny way to encourage viewers to put down the greasy burger and head into Subway for a healthy, affordable, yet tasty meal.

Look me in the eye- Michael Jordan

"Look me in the eye. It's okay if you're scared. So am I. But we're scared for different reasons. I'm scared of what I WON'T become, and you're scared of what I COULD become. Look at me. I won't let myself end where I started. I won't let myself finish where I began. I know what is within me, even if you can't see it yet. Look me in the eyes. I have something more important than courage - I have patience. I will become what I know I am.

I often wish I was older when Michael Jordan was in his prime. I was about 4 years old when he was leading the Bulls, and can remember my family getting excited for the game to start. He was such a large part of so many lives, and watching his commercials truly inspire me. Although I can not remember in great detail all of his games, I remember the feeling I had when I heard Michael Jordan was on T.V.

The first time I saw this video, I knew right away it was Michael. I love how you do not see his face at all but can still figure out it is him. His deep voice is intimidating as well as inspirational to everyone. It is one of the videos that truly gives you goosebumps, which is the main reason I absolutely love it.

Around the World in 5 weeks

A razor seems pretty basic in the lives of many, but choosing a brand can be challenging, not only with a razor but for several household items. I thought Gillette did a fantastic job selling their product through this commercial. The clips of this guy exploring the world made me feel like I was right beside him experiencing these things with him. I loved that the commercial gave life lessons as well as showed the things that are out in the world that we should all experience. For awhile I forgot it was a razor commercial, but was reminded at the very end, but was left thinking of all of the fun things he did.

Diamond's Are a Girl's Best Friend--Cartier

This advertisement blew my mind. The commercial definitely seemed like an ad for a new movie, but turns out it was for the one and only Cartier. What made this commercial so eloquent was the fact that there was no voices or words, the only thing heard was the music. It was almost hypnotizing and I got the feeling I was in a dream. As the cheetah made it's way through the snowy terrane and passed all the Cartier consumers (the woman with the ring, the man with the watch) he soon realizes where HIS Cartier is hiding. The end of the commercial was touching because it was a feeling of a pet finding it's owner after being lost, and getting the feeling that Cartier's jewelry brings people together.

NBA-Knock It Down

I have always been a huge fan of basketball, and this commercial made me love the NBA even more. I found the editing to flow very well and made me want to re-watch the commercial several times. The song was fun and uplifting got me excited for March Madness!

Back in the Day

"Can your fruit snack do this?!" I was searching around looking for commercials that caught my attention, and I decided that I wanted to think back in the day of the commercials that stood out to me the most. Looking back on my younger years this is the one commercial that I still think about. As a kid I used to HATE when commercials would interrupt the show I was watching, expect for this particular one. The idea of turning a person into a cactus or a fruit head was extremely appealing to me. This commercial is fun and really grabs the eye of the T.V watcher, The fun music and crazy characters still brings a smile to my face as I look back to the 90s.
I am not a huge fan of Gushers these days, but back when I was younger and found Gushers in my lunch I thought it was the best day of my life. This commercial was the reason I forced my mom to buy them because their commercial is awesome, and and so are the bright colored candies. You don't see these commercials anymore, but I sure wish I did!

Christmas Craze

The first thing I think about when Christmas time rolls around is obviously the Christmas music, but more importantly the fun Christmas commercials.  For weeks people around the world are in a craze shopping for their loved ones, and turn into stressed out, anxious, intense shoppers just like the woman seen in this ad.
This has got to be one of the best Christmas commercials out there, and it is not a surprise that Target is responsible. Not only so all  their ads grab the eye of the customer, they also make them laugh. When Christmas time rolls around I look for these commercials, because they remind me instantly of my mom, and the billions of other shoppers I see around the mall during the weeks before Christmas. I think this ad does a great job in showing how crazy people get around Christmas time, and how intense shoppers can be.

Chipotle---one of the best fast foods out there.

Chipotle: Mexican Grill is a personal favorite of mine along with thousands in the US of A. Their food is phenomenal, their service is fast and you get a ton of food for your buck.   When I sit down and think of how they get their name out to the world nothing comes to mind. I have never seen a Chipotle commercial or an ad for Chipotle which explains why I was so shocked when I came across this commercial  I think this commercial is awesome because it shows how the food industry is lacking natural animals and using pigs and cows that are contained and locked up, and shipped off to restaurants. Chipotle does not believe in this, and wants to show that their meat is pure and straight from the farms as seen in the last part of the commercial.
I find this commercial to be fun to watch with its cartoon characters and music. I think this commercial is very well constructed and tells a story, but is not too long. I love that Chipotle is getting their name out there and showing it's customers how they run their company

Facebook--more like Facecreep

If Facebook were a country it would be the third most populated in the world. How crazy is that? When I try and wrap my head around how many people have access to my personal information it frightens me a bit. Although Facebook has created many privacy settings, you may not really know who is creeping on your pictures or information. I stumbled upon this Facebook Awareness video a few months ago and it made me re-think what I posted on the internet, you will never know who can see you.
This video was all over Facebook in an attempt to warn users that everyone can see what you post. The man in this video is on edge, creepy and a replica of what is seen in a horror movie, and he is flipped through your personal pictures, post and friends. I respect the scare tactic used in this video, I think it truly got the point across to keep your information private as well as be knowledgeable that whatever is put on the internet can be seen by all.
